Election time cometh!

The BBC has helpfully compiled a drop-down box menu of the parties and their main priorities (here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/election_2010/parties_and_issues/8515961.stm#subject=key&col1=conservative&col2=labour&col3=libdem for anyone who's interested) to which I can conclude the following:

They all kind of suck. And we have LESS choice than Ireland and more or less the same as Scotland and Wales who, since they are my home nations above England, I can't denegrate but let's face it, the seat of *UK* power is in London, not Edinburgh or Cardiff.

Personally I'll probably vote Conservative since they suck a little bit less than everyone else but REALLY? My only real choice is between Labour and Conservative and my back ups are the (personae non gratae) Lib Dems, the (Nazi party) BNP and the (anti-environment and also mildly Nazi) UKIP? TRULY?

The hell. I should have run myself. :/

Well, as long as it isn't the BNP I won't COMPLAIN, given how much energy I expend hating the BNP...I'd probably be forced to explode or assassinate someone if they got in. But they probably won't. So at least I'll SURVIVE the general election.

The Boy and I had some fascinating moral debates last night, which we've taken to a lot of late, involving crime and punishment, and tax. I love how he challenges me.

He's in a peeve with me this morning though since I made him miss the bus to looks at birds...¬_¬;
