What I've been doing this week:
- Eating fry ups and cooking hams baked in Dr Pepper (WAY better than it sounds, srsly), and since it's raining, unable to walk home. OH WELL.
- Getting rained on, almost worth it since as we came out of Guides Rainbows yesterday, there was a double rainbow in the sky. <3
- Moaning to anyone at work who'll listen that I want to work in the Student Centre where it is lovely, shiny and the sun basically glitters in the cerulean sky (even when it clearly doesn't) as opposed to Reception, that cimmerean Infernoesque pit of spiralling awfulness. This might backfire if my morning boss gets to hear about it but he might take pity on me, you never know...
- Applied for the most amazing job as a tea buyer's assistant where tasting is part of the job...!!
- Took part in a work April Fool's plan...who wants to volunteer to take students scuba diving or play croquet on the front lawn once a week?
And it's a long weekend! YAY!

The life of a graduate eh?
ReplyDeleteHam & Dr Pepper - interesting!! Maybe we should partake in a Royal Holloway (plus me) Come Dine With Me, and that can be your dish :D Where did you get that idea from?
My week consists of:
- Feelings of desperation to leave my job / general waste'age of my life at my job (ha!)
- Eating far too much chocolate BEFORE EASTER WEEKEND
- Living for the long weekend
- Not liking the newly dark mornings
What an exciting week...!
Hannah's week is EXACTLY my week. The exciting life of a yuppie, ey?
ReplyDelete@H: we totally should! And now Chris and I have an actual house (OK, flat) with an ACTUAL front room (first one for 4 years, how sad) I can have people over! Whoo hoo! Well, we found a Delia recipe for ham in coke and we thought, well, coke isn't that exciting. What is? And we trawled the drinks aisle of WAitrose and inspiration struck...!
ReplyDeleteAw, *hugs* for the job pain, both of you...
And hear hear re: dark morning! Light evenings are nice but wow, getting up is way too difficult now...
@E: We're crazy young city types, amirite? :D
